Hoover Grads from the 60’s Picnic

TIME: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Bring your own food to chow down or just show up to visit; whatever suits you. If you decide not to attend, someone will surely be wondering whatever happened to you. This is a time to reminisce, time to share and time to get reacquainted. Please join this fun filled informal gathering of old friends. We are the aging “Babyboomers” and very proud of our status… Let’s get together while we still can remember the past. Even if we can’t recognize all the faces we will be amongst those who we shared our adolescent and teen years with. Let’s just share a moment in the present to reflect because our kids are probably getting very tired of hearing our stories even though they envy our era.
Due to restrictions on number in attendance we are asking that you check in with your class contact/contacts and RSVP so that we can keep a tally of those attending. If the number reaches 75 it will be necessary for us to obtain a permit.

Pictures are Still Coming!

More pictures have been added to the Hoover web site. Click under “blogroll” on the right of this page on “Hoover 40th Reunion web site” then on “pictures” on the yellow tag. Or just CLICK HERE. I have the class picture that I need to scan first that will also go up. Thank you to everyone who has emailed their pictures from Friday and Saturday. I don’t know if I can put names with the pictures, they didn’t come to me with names… Also thank you to those who have sent suggestions already for next time.

I would like to figure out how to put more pictures right here on this site. I know it can be done, I just haven’t had a block of time to sit down and figure it out. If anyone knows how and can explain it to me let me know. I have a few pictures here, but I’m not sure how I did it. It may look like I know what I’m doing but I just keep learning as I go along.
